SecludedAI Tunnel securely connects Studio to customer-owned Gateway systems without requiring typical consumer or office users to expose private network services directly to the public internet.

Gateway

SecludedAI Gateway is the API, authentication, and routing layer. It handles users, requests, model abstraction, and communications between the user-facing interface and the customer's Core infrastructure.

Core

SecludedAI Core is the private inference engine. It runs on customer-owned infrastructure and executes the model workloads that power the system.

Why does SecludedAI separate Studio, Gateway, Core, and Tunnel?

Each layer has a focused responsibility. Studio provides the user experience. Gateway handles API access, auth, and routing. Core runs the actual AI workloads. Tunnel provides secure managed connectivity between the hosted interface and the customer's environment. This separation creates a cleaner, more supportable private AI platform.

Why not just run everything in one app?

A single all-in-one app is simpler at first, but it limits flexibility, control, and long-term supportability. SecludedAI is designed as a real platform architecture so each layer can evolve without collapsing the whole system into one tightly coupled product.

What does customer-owned infrastructure actually mean?

It means the Gateway and Core systems run on infrastructure the customer controls. That can be customer-provided hardware, a guided build, or a bundled system. The key idea is that the control and inference layers are not treated as disposable third-party black boxes.
