What is SecludedAI Tunnel?
SecludedAI Tunnel is the secure connectivity layer that allows hosted Studio to communicate with a customer-owned Gateway without requiring typical direct public exposure of the customer's private network services.
Why not just port forward the Gateway?
Port forwarding may work in some cases, but it adds complexity and increases exposure risk for many users. SecludedAI Tunnel is designed to provide a more manageable path for secure connectivity.
Does Tunnel run the AI models?
No. Tunnel is not an inference engine. It is strictly the secure connectivity layer between Studio and the customer's Gateway.
Does Tunnel mean SecludedAI owns my Gateway or Core?
No. Tunnel provides managed connectivity, but the Gateway and Core systems remain customer-owned parts of the architecture.
Why is Tunnel important for a hosted Studio experience?
Without Tunnel or an equivalent connectivity layer, a hosted Studio interface would have trouble securely reaching customer-owned Gateway systems on typical home or office networks. Tunnel makes the hosted experience much more practical.
Will Tunnel be part of the subscription value?
Yes. Tunnel is part of what makes the SecludedAI hosted experience usable and supportable at scale. It is a core layer in the overall service model.
